Tables of 10: $2,400 inc GST + booking fee.
Individual tickets: $240 inc GST + booking fee.
Tickets are now sold out – we have a few seats remaining, so if you have missed out please get in touch and we will try to accomodate you. Please email any ticket requests or queries to office@nzawards.org.nz.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT THE GALA DINNER?
Our guests can expect…
- An exquisite three-course meal by Cordis chef, made with locally sourced produce.
- An open bar starting with champagne and followed by beer, wine and non-alcoholic offerings.
- TVNZ hosts, Toni Street and Scotty Morrison
- The Awards ceremony celebrating the 2023 Finalists across all seven awards categories – as well as the exciting announcement of the seven 2023 Winners!

DRESS CODE
We’d love for you to help us mark the special occasion by dressing up in your finest black tie!
However, our main objective is that you feel comfortable in what you’re wearing – your own variation of black tie will be perfect. We also encourage and welcome any cultural attire that feels right for you.
GETTING TO THE AWARDS DINNER
The Cordis Hotel is approximately a 20 minute drive from Auckland International Airport. Once you’re there, you can park up at the Wilson public car park located at the rear of the Hotel off Liverpool Street. Alternatively, Cordis Auckland offers valet parking at the entrance of the Hotel for $55.00 per day.
SEATING ON THE NIGHT
We’ll do very our best to ensure that you can sit with your friends and whānau! Tables purchased together will be seated together (or as close as possible). If you’re purchasing tables separately, let us know the name of the table purchaser you would like to be seated near in the ‘who are you supporting’ question prompted when buying tickets online and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
LOST YOUR TICKET?
Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us. Lost tickets can be reissued to the ticket purchaser only. Please contact New Zealander of the Year Awards Office directly at office@nzawards.org.nz ahead of the event if you need us to reissue tickets. Keep in mind that tickets will be re-sent to the original email address they were purchased with.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
When purchasing your tickets, please follow the prompts to input any dietary requirements. If you, or your guests, dietary requirements change leading up the event – email the New Zealander of the Year Awards Office team directly at office@nzawards.org.nz. Dietary requirements must be submitted minimum of two weeks prior to the event – cut off for dietary changes is Friday 17 March 2023.
COVID-19
As COVID-19 continues to be present in Aotearoa, we’ll be doing everything we can to keep our community safe. You know the drill by now – stay home if you’re sick, wash your hands and sanitise (the Cordis team will have sanitiser readily available at the event). You’re welcome to wear a face covering at the event.
ACCESSIBILITY
If you have mobility requirements and would like us to assist in any way, please let us know! Email us office@nzawards.org.nz ahead of the event. You can also expect access to specialised toilets, access doors, seating areas and elevators throughout the venue. Please speak to a member of the New Zealander of the Year Awards Office if you have any questions – we’re here to help.
HOUSEKEEPING NOTES
In case of a fire, please follow Cordis staff to the hotel assembly point on City Road. Toilets are located in the pre-function area by the coat check.
